We’re so excited to be running the Cosplay Masquerades at MegaCon Live Manchester in just a few weeks! Now all of the entrants have submitted their applications, it’s time to announce the judges for the weekend. We’ll be introducing one judge a day and you can meet all of them right here.
Announcing our second and third judges for the Saturday Cosplay Masquerade: Madwoman Costumes & Crafting Chrisis.

A cosplay duo, Madwoman Costumes (she/her) and Crafting Chrisis (they/he) have won several craftsmanship, performance, and overall awards. Noteably, they’re former MegaCon Live Cosplay Masquerade Artificer winners, taking the crown (literally!) at MegaCon Live London 2025 with their House of the Dragon costumes and performance.
It was a love of period costumes that inspired Madwoman Costumes, also known as Feli, to begin cosplaying in 2015. She enjoys deep-diving into details and obscure making techniques, but is well-versed in a number of different techniques, and also loves playing around with her 3D printer and her cutting machine. She trained as a tailor, and now works professionally in costume for film and television.

Chris, or Crafting Chrisis, has been involved in LARP for many years, and actively started getting involved in cosplay in 2018. They enjoy the creative process of cosplay, and find that creating performance pieces from scratch to showcase their costumes puts their acting and performance background to excellent use.
We asked Chris & Feli: If you could give one piece of advice to the entrants you’re about to judge, what would it be?
“Please don’t forget to have fun; we’ve been where you are now, and we know how scary it can be – that means we’re already on your side!”
