MegaCon Live and the Guild of Nerds are thrilled to announce that the UK qualifier for the Extreme Cosplay Gathering 2025 will be hosted at MegaCon Live London!
First hosted in 2011, the Extreme Cosplay Gathering (known as ECG) is a cosplay contest on an international scale, celebrating connections between countries and a shared love for craft and performance.
After winning a qualifier event, a representative individual or group will be invited to Japan Expo in Paris, to meet cosplayers from all over the world who share their passion, and to represent their country on Europe’s largest cosplay stage.

On Sunday 26th January 2025, MegaCon Live London will host the UK qualifier as part of the Cosplay Masquerade, run by the Guild of Nerds.
We’re so excited to be hosting such a prestigious event, and we can’t wait to see what our cosplayers bring to the show.
The rules for ECG season 13 will be the same as season 12, which can be found here.
Applications for the ECG qualifier and for MegaCon Live’s Cosplay Masquerade are expected to open in early November, with plenty of further information coming soon. Keep an eye out!
